"The ST Series amplifier is the flagship in a family of "elevated efficiency" amplification from Crest Audio. The ST amplifier represents a new benchmark in switching amplification: providing the expected advantages of low-weight and reduced heat while preserving the sonic integrity for which Crest Audio is known. With the latest in switching technology onboard this feature-rich product has the contemporary look feel and sound of a touring class amplifiers. The ST Series is very competitively priced and is well-suited for a wide range of applications.

Resonant-switching power supply The ST amplifier switching power supply employs a resonant design which utilizes "zero-power" switching technology. Benefits of resonant-switching include:

Reduced power component stress for better reliability and efficiency 20dB lower noise than conventional switching supplies (and therefore more EMC friendly) behaves like a classic linear supply but with the added advantages of size and weight reduction switching output stage To maintain sonic quality along with incorporating the advantages of a switching output stage Crest Audio큦 engineering has two years of development time in this new generation Class D amplifier. The multiple rail technology is the key to its efficiency and low operating temperature. An additional advantage to this design is the amount of power needed over time. This amplifier will dramatically reduce the number of kw/hr needed to operate.

Dramatically reduced net weight Switching power supply/switching output stages Very low current draw Latest generation of high-speed wide-bandwidth output devices Cooled by variable speed fan with back-to-front airflow Inputs--balanced female XLR 1/4" TRS and three pin phoenix Outputs--Speakon and five-way binding posts Mode selector switch for stereo parallel and bridged-mono operation Ground-lift switch and rear panel circuit breaker Recessed stepped attenuators with removable knobs 16-gauge steel chassis 14-gauge steel front panel
