Description A unique 2-way low frequency system with two vented 12 in woofers and two sealed 8 in woofers in a trapezoidal enclosure. Tuned Dipolar Array™ (TDA™) technology provides 10-12 dB of vertical attenutation from 160 Hz to 500 Hz compared to traditional low frequency loudspeakers. Each driver has its own connections on the input panel. This allows the drivers to be connected in parallel to one amplifier channel or connected individually to separate amplifier channels.

Applications The MQTD412 is a powerful tool when LF directivity is required. It harnesses well known interference effects to create a directional low frequency system without enormous horns or baffles. It is designed to work with a complementary MQ1300 Series mid/high loudspeaker to create a full range audio system. The enclosure is vertically configured for arraying in horizontal rows. Horizontal arrays are typically used in venues such as houses of worship where the array must address wide fan-shaped audiences.
